6 Sports Two-A-Days

Post by 6 Sports »

What's up everyone....Wanted to let everyone know our Two-a-Days begin Monday evening at 6pm. We'll be traveling out to your schools' camps, and previewing all the teams from the region, District 5, 6, and 9 over the next 2+ weeks leading up to Week One games. New teams being previewed during every 6pm and 11pm sportscast. Interviews with coaches and players from nearly 60 schools. At the end, we'll unveil who the coaches from each conference picked to win their leagues. It all starts Monday at 6pm when we start with the two schools which went furthest in the playoffs -- Tyrone and Penns Manor. All the previews plus complete interviews with the coaches will be up on our sports page at WJACTV.com for your viewing and re-watching enjoyment.

Great News! I can't wait to see some of the media day highlights.

You guys should post a schedule of what teams will be aired on what times/days. I think that would help some old folk like me make sure I tune in to see my team.

Almost kick-off Friday!!!

The plan is to try to compile a schedule at least 2-3 days in advance of when the preview will air. Often times because of conflicting schedules, we don't know until the day of which camps we'll be traveling to. But once we visit the camp, we'll be able to slot when each team will air.

We have the first few days of Two-A-Days mapped out. This schedule is subject to change. If your school isn't listed yet, don't worry. We got around to 55 local camps last year and we have every intention on doing more over the next two weeks. The best way to get updated schedules for when each school will air is by following me on Facebook.com/MattMaiselSports or on Twitter @Matt_Maisel. Shameless plug, I know. Enjoy!

Monday
6pm - Tyrone, Penns Manor
11pm - Johnstown, Ligonier

Tuesday
6pm - Westmont, Ferndale
11pm - Clearfield, Ligonier

Wednesday
6pm - Bellwood, McCort
11pm - Curwensville, Portage

How accurate is your schedule? I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure you showed Westmont and State College on Tuesday at 6pm and not Westmont/Ferndale.

It's accurate but also subject to change. We thought we'd be able to get Ferndale earlier this week, but they ended practice early. It forced us to get them at a later time, and also pushback their airtime. Everything else listed is good through next Monday as of now.
