Last week 4-1 and 6-4 ytd.

Northern Cambria (1-1) 33
United (0-2) 8

NC lost a tough game at Homer-Center. The Colts outgained the Wildcats 238 to 233 but 4 tornover vs 0 cost them. United was totally blown out at Ligonier Valley 63-0. It was 56-0 after the second half kickoff was returned for a TD. LV outgained the Lions 419 to 28.

Saltsburg (0-2) 7
Penns Manor (1-1) 41

Saltsburg lost a close game 20-14 at Marion Center. The Trojans ran the ball well with 201 yds. RB's Steve Richards had 100 and Sam Frassenei had 66. But, the passing was 2-12-0-29 with starting QB Tyler Franenei 0-6-0-0. Cody Stewart was 2-2-0-29 and a TD. Penns Manor woke-up and took Conemaugh Valley 53-6 to even the Heritage vs WPAC at 1-1. Six different Comets scored TD's with Cody Bytner and Lucas Kowalski each twice. CV ran for only 30 yds , but passed 7-17-0-96 and a TD. PM has been hurt by the pass in both games, but not here.

Blacklick Valley (2-0) 34

PL ran the ball for 253 yds. in losing to Blairsville 36-20. Passing was only 1-8-1-17. Bl V is on a roll 42-7 and 44-12 and should make WPAC 2-1 vs the Heritage.

Marion Center (1-1) 12
Homer-Center (2-0) 20

MC scored 20 points in both of their games. Last week against Saltsburg the defense held to 14 points, but 43 vs Blairsville in week 1. As noted, H-C may have been luckly to get by NC.

Game of the Week

Blairsville (2-0) 10
Ligonier Valley (2-0) 42

This match-up of two 2-0 teams have QB's that have been on. The Bobcats Scott Thompson is 12-27-0 263 and 3 TD's with a 117 rating. The Rams Scott Fennell is 8-13-0-168 and 4 TD's with a 145 rating. Both teams may want to pass more since they both play Penns Manor later this season. LV defense was been much better than Blairsville.

All games at 7 PM Friday. Blacklick Valley now has lights.
