Aliquippa, Jeanette, and SF are the top three AA teams in the western part of the state. And Washington is probably four. I really don't see a Hickory or a Tyrone taking out any of those teams.

The toughest one will be AAA. Montour or CV is going to have to hit their stride in the playoffs if they wanna knock off McDevitt or ECP.

And NA is IMO the best team in the state who just embarrassed a very good Seneca Valley team and Gateway is scary, just depends on whether or not Terry Smith can get over the hump.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to argue that we COULD have 4 teams in Chocolate Town this December.

Aliquippa vs Imhotep seems to be heading on a collision course. I know we're a long way away. As for 3A & 4A, the WPIAL has been behind the state for sometime now. While yes, NA has looked very, very good against WPIAL competition, I'm unsure how good they really are when comparing them to a La Salle College, or Easton. In 3A I think we're heading towards a Bishop McDevitt vs Archbishop Wood game in Hershey.

I say every year we have a legit shot. This year 1A & 2A is our our best shots.

I'd say Clairton is a sure shot. They will roll over anyone in the West. Does Farrell have any sort of a team this year? They have battled Clairton in the past.

AA-Being a D6 guy, Richland and Penn Cambria are the AA teams to beat this year. Richland is a lot like South Fayette. Good, but won't be able to keep up with a fast team. PC is a physical defensive team. Not sure with D10/9.

AAA-McDevitt or Lancaster Catholic are real good teams. ECP is legit. And I'm just not sure there is a sure fire WPIAL team that is better than these teams.

AAAA-North Allegheny is my pick to win it all. They can beat anyone.

North Allegheny would beat Juniata College by 2 TDs. I am not kidding.

I agree with that, they are absolutely unreal. Central Dauphin and LaSalle are the only teams that can get them this season.

How about Art Walker making them a powerhouse?
