Anyone else watching this Oakland/Texas game? This is the craziest crowd I have ever seen in my life! Picture this, Oakland battles alllllll the way back to tie Texas for the division lead going into the final day of the season. Oakland is up 8-5 in the 8th and they tack on 4 more behind a bases loaded bases clearing double by none other than BRANDON MOSS. The ninth inning starts with Grant Balfour coming into the game with Metallica One playing and this crowd goes absolute bananas. Insanity. The sad thing is, that could have been Pittsburgh right about now.

I agree...Os all the way...Visited Camden Yards in June to see the Nats play the Os...GREAT game and even better trip!

Love Camden Yards. It seems like every time I go there I see an awesome game. I saw Randy Meyers blow his only save of the year on a Jason Giambi homer. Giambi was a rookie, I got his autograph during BP. Never heard of him until that day. That was also one of McGuire's last games with the A's. Also saw Jr Griffey hit two dingers in a game there. Cal Ripken hit a HR in every game I ever saw him play. So many awesome memories from that park. I hope they make a nice run!

The A's will be in Pittsburgh the 1st week of July next year, scheduling my vacation to coincide with it.

The hardest ball I have ever seen hit in my life was at Camden Yards by Mark McGwire.

It was a September game in the early 1990s, a chilly but calm night...I was sitting right behind the A's dugout and not many people were in the stands, so you coudl hear and see everything perfectly on the field. Mark McGwire hit a line drive so hard that Cal Ripken Jr actually JUMPED to try to catch it. Well, the line drive just kept going and in about 1 second the ball was in the left center field stands, maybe 10 rows back. The ball was no more than 10 feet off the ground the whole way. Usually, you have people running to try to catch home runs; the few folks out there in LCF were ducking, and trying to get away from the ball. The ball was probably traveling 110mph.
