my first quick question about shoes

my son stepped on a hot rod and the sole thankfully prevented his foot from getting severely burned. I would like to change the soles on the childrens shoes as I am impressed with the safety and the shoes id still intact. How do I get the same type of soles to replace the burnt ones?
