With Louisville leaving, Boise state and last year's adds wanting to walk away and Uconn and Cinci wanting out what will happen to the big east? Will they cease to exist soon? I personally feel they need to forget football and try and save basketball. Add VCU Butler and Xavier and make all current basketball schools left sign a deal to stay basketball wise and join any conference football wise. Either way i feel big east football is all but over.

I agree with all these teams leaving the only way the Big East will exist is if they pick up crap teams like Ohio, Akron, and Umass, and try to keep teams like Syracuse, South Florida, and Temple.

I wonder how many Mac schools refuse to join big east already. They are probably saying why leave our conference, we are already taking your bcs bid this year
