i would like to know y in the 145lb final between hartramph of bedford v westwood of everett...y when hartramph elbowed westwood in the face..y coach ripple told him GOOD ...DO IT AGAIN....that is just 1 of my many questions....

maybe because westwood was chinning him like crazy and the ref just let it go. tuff to chin some one if your chin is split open.

but they checked...and chinning is legal...he wasnt moving it all over his back....just in 1 place ....and the elbow wasnt even close to his chin though....it was just whole side of the face...and for ripple to tell hartramph GOOD DO IT AGAIN....chinning is legal...and its a good move to use to keep your man down

I saw the match, Westwood did nothing wrong, Hatrampt laughed when Coach ripple said that, personally I think they were both out of line...that is no way to act....

chinning is not legal if you are doing it to inflict pain that was what he was doing i was not pulling for either boy but i know what i saw westwood is a dirty wrestler sorry thats what i seen and i did not hear robbie say that either.

Westwood was chinning brandon to keep him down on his base and keeping him from standing up.....not to inflict pain? When someone throws an elbow, to me that is more dirty than if they chin someone.

chinning is legal....they even asked the ref in the middle of the match...throwing elbows isnt legal...and the coach telling the kid to do it again..is not legal either...

IMO i think chining is legal if you are trying to hold the kid down i saw the match and i saw ripple tell him to elbow him again and there was no sportsmanship their whatsoever. Even if it is illegal, elbowing a kid because the ref. didn't call it is isn't sportsmanship either. You can use almost any part of your body to hold someone down. And pain is wrestling!

Even if the wrestler has poor sportsmanship, the coach should have the maturity to discourage unsportsman like behavior.
