So the PA rosters will be announced Jan 13th. Obviously its not the final roster and there are always kids that decide not to play or get hurt beforehand.

But I was told by somebody who does promotional work for the game that the head coach is from the Wpial this year. He told me who it is but they don't announce it until the same day as the players and I don't wanna give it away. Maybe yunz care, maybe yunz don't. Just figured I'd post and let y'all know.

Sorry can't tell. Don't mean to be a tease by posting and not saying who it is but I was told to keep it quiet.

Just thought Wpial guys who go to the game every year would be interested in knowing the head coach will be one of ours.

Art Walker, its not a secret it was announced last Spring. Also n staff from WPIAL Mark Lyons from Central Valley and Wehner from Baldwin

Tyler Boyd, WR/ATH - Clairton
Robert Foster, WR - Central Valley
Dorian Johnson, OT - Belle Vernon
Pat Kugler, OG - North Allegheny
Mack Leftwich, QB - North Allegheny
Scott Orndoff, TE - Seton La Salle
Hodari Christian, LB - McKeesport
Matt Barone, OG - Montour

I think a handful more deserve it but these are a core group I could see them taking.

I'd have to guess Tyler Boyd, Robert Foster, Dorian Johnson, and Pat Kugler. If they so choose to play. Obviously a few more. I'd expect the two Erie Prep guys in this one as well.


So many kids enroll early these days, its hard to tell. I know Scott Orndoff of Seton LaSalle already has already enrolled at Pitt, I'm sure he is not alone.
