Question...

That Pitt's new defensive coordinator is 36 years old and begins dating a 19 year old coed, like Joe did with Sue back in the early 1960s?

How would the PSU faithful react?

Granted it worked out well for the Paternos, as they seemingly had a great marriage and a happy family. Good for them.

How would that be viewed nowadays?

Just asking.

First, Pitt would need to have a defensive coordinator for that to happen.

Secondly, the age difference was 13 years (not that it matters)

Finally, I would think "that lucky b@stard"

I sure when a 36 year old guy begins dating a 19 year old, he just doesn't want to hold hands, even in those days.

I'm 20 and apply the divide age by 2 add 7 rule. But that's me and every person can love who they want after they are both 18. No judgement on them.

I once knew an 83 year old guy who was going to marry a 23 year old. When I told him that marrying someone that young might be fatal, he answered, "If she dies, she dies".
