Re: Forest Hills
This is ONLY my opinions. Feel free to post your own, and to differ.
The numbers will be down again at FH. I don't have any numbers yet. I do know of one addition to the roster that the Mirror didn't have, probably due to a recent move into the district. Zach Shearman was in the Johnstown district last year, and the family relocated due to the father's job. OOOOOO, CONTROVERSY!!! Get over it, it isn't going to make the Rangers district champs. A junior-to-be, he is maybe 6 ft. or 6-1, probably around 200#. His position is to be determined. At the recent Richland passing camp, he threw a little, not much success. Possibly a RB or TE? We'll see. Another body that moved in from Virginia, Junior-to-be, Spencer Thompson, has decent size at 6' or 6-1, 260#-270# but will really have to bust his butt to even make the squad, being totally unfamiliar with the FH system. Provided he makes it, He'll be a JV lineman at best. Any injuries incurred by FH's key personnel will really be what determines how successful this Ranger squad will be. Some of last year's successful frosh may be asked to step it up for either the JV or Varsity. I look for Dallas McClintock to step right in for departed WR / DB Doltyn Snedden. Excellent size and hands. Can the line give Donoughe even a split second to find his receivers? A very big question mark.

Re: Forest Hills
Didn't know Shearman moved in. Fairly good athlete, will start in the post in basketball and likely at 1B in baseball right away. Not sure how he is in football.
Forest Hills has skilled guys, but lacks size.
Donoughe is really good if you ask me, and I really enjoyed watching him play. Shima can lay the wood as a Safety, and should be a good receiver. I wonder if Blough can step up. Also, Wieczorek is one of the better all around players in the LHAC, I'm expecting big things.

The previously mentioned Thompson didn't even come out for football. I doubt he would have cut it anyway.
