Shooting outside the school. Possibly 3 shooters with 3 students shot. All are in good condition. Shooters ran into the woods. The 3 that were shot WILL NOT COOPERATE with police so possible gang related.
Swat teams surrounding a house right now. It is live on the Pittsburgh stations.

Been to Brashear many times. Wife's BFF works there. Brashear is actually one of the less challenging Pittsburgh Public High Schools, along with Allderdice. Westinghouse, Perry, and Obama are worse.

Being from that area, my heart goes out to the kids and their families. It is very sad to see that young kids (innocent) have to deal with this. I understand that their were 5 suspects? My prayers go out to the kids and their families!!

I don't think brashear is as known for it's gang activity as the others. But I think it's like Woodland hills, school is in nice neighborhood just don't go 6 blocks in any direction. I will find out at work tomorrow. Im pretty sure that is Cripp area.

It is surrounded by alot of activity. It may not be close as other schools. But the closeness of the school really is not the factor, it is the kids that go to the schools. You never know who the kids are hanging with and what area they are hanging in. Their are different (sets) all over the area but which area are the kids hanging in can lead to trouble if that is the case in this situation.

That's why I never complain when my son says, Dad lets go fishing, or Dad lets go hunting!!!! And I take as many of his friends as I can.

The news coverage implied the "victims" know who did it but aren't talking. Sounds gang related to me.
