In your opinion, what teams are shaping up to be real contenders for a district 5 championship?

A girls - Two team battle between SF & Berlin
AA girls -Tussey's to lose

A Boys- Look for an all Somerset County team final
AA Boys- Township seems to be the most consistent team right now but it is anyone's guess. Getting the 1 & 2 seeds will be huge. Winning one game at home to make the finals is a big advantage for the top two seeds.

1.2. NBC, CT
3. SF
4. TM
5. Ridge
6. Windber
My opinion ridge, windber don't have a chance although ridge beat TM twice, so I believe TM would be a long-shot.
Out of the remaining 3 I think SF is the best coached, CT is the most hustling and NBC has the best athletics.
As of now a toss-up between the top 3.

wow - there isnt a clear frontrunner in that group. even the 6 seed has a more than reasonable chance to win D5AA. What does the A field look like?

Even losing to Ridge twice they were close games. Tussey beating Ridge in the playoffs would not be a surprise. I saw the game in Saxton and I don't think the Lions are very good. Both teams looked bad in that one.

I see that "Tussey Mt. Fan" posted the rankings for all the teams in the district as of 1/13. Is there a website where you can get the most up to date rankings and also get them for other districts (district 6 for example)? Thank you in advance for any help with this matter.

They usually update once a week this time of the year. As it gets closer to playoff seeding time, they update more often.

Don't think that the D6 site does rankings throughout the season.
