Rumor has it that Purchase Line and Saltsburg will play twice during the regular season because they couldn't find replacements for their games with the westpac

Is one of the Westpac schools not having varsity football now or what changed?

Not positive on this, but I did hear the Westpac is playing each other for their 10th game 1 versus 2 and down the line to 8 versus 9.

Rockwood canceled their football program to at least 2015.

Yeah if what I am hearing is true and I believe it is, they will stay within and do that 10th game as I said 1 vs 2 right down the line

I also understand that it's true. It was announced last week that PM picked up St Joe's as their 10th game to replace Conemaugh Valley. 2 year agreement with first game at PM.

Week 10 was never part of the official Heritage/WPAC crossover scheduling. Some Heritage and WPAC teams did play each other Week 10 but that was just scrounging for a Week 10 game when that game became mandatory for all classes in District 6, especially affecting Class A.

The official Heritage/WPACcrossover games were all Week 1 through Week 9. There were set up to take care of the empty Laurel Valley schedule spot for the Heritage and the empty Turkeyfoot Valley schedule spot for the WPAC.

I don't know if the official Week 1-9 crossover games are gone now. But even it they aren't, with Rockwood out and Ferndale maybe iffy, some Heritage teams will scrounge for those games too, like United had too Week 1 last year.
