If you are Bill O'Brien and the Houston Texans who are you taking and why?

If I'm the guy in charge I take Clowney. Can you imagine if this guy is opposite JJ Watt on defense? This puts opposing offensive tackles to work and puts pressure on teams to use their running backs to become blockers more often. Cushing will be back at LB and shores up that group. This team is more likely to win quicker if they have a better defense vs a quarterback who might not make a difference right away. This is not a bad team at all. If they get back to running the ball and playing good defense, they could start contending fairly quickly.

Maybe they can trade the pick and move down to the 4-5 range and still get Clowney. I'm not sure it is risk I would take though.

If they are smart they will take clowny, if they are lucky they'll make a good trade, if they follow hype they'll take Mack, if they want a solid QB they'll take Bortles and if they are stupid they'll take manziel

Personally there in no way I would take Clowney at the first pick. I'd trade down if I could or take Mack. Mack has a motor that never stops and has all the potential to be an all-pro linebacker. I just couldn't take a chance on someone with a bad attitude first overall. Id rather have someone who you know is going to give it everything they have.

Well they have improved the defense and worked on getting the OL back together. Sort of where I was going with the first post. Run the ball and play defense.
