Maple Grove, Englishtown, Norwalk, Indianapolis, Charlotte (4 wide). ...... Oh wait. You mean those guys that can't go straight or make right turns. Well, I am going to Roaring Knob near Yough Lake to see the 410 Sprints tonight, including members of the Outlaws and Pa. Posse. Does that count?

I have season tickets and make the trip to Williams Grove every week for 410 sprint cars. I also hit the bigger shows at Port Royal and Lincoln Speedways. Try to make 1 trip a year to Eldora Speedway. Have been to the Knoxville Nationals in Iowa and Indiana Speedweek.

My friend's Dad, Mike Wagner of Harrisonville, came in 2nd to Dale? or Dave? Blaney last night. Wild Child Haudenschild tapped Wagner in turn 2 right out of a restart and dropped him back to 4th, or he probably would have won. The other son, Logan Wagner, came in 8th. His first season in the big blocks. The track is hosting a $5K to win sprint show next Sun. nt. Last Sun. in Sept. there will be a TWENTY-thousand to win show!

Manfred, you go very often. Dave Blaney is who won last night. I don't think Dale was there. Mike Wagner is one of my favorite drivers. He's been competitive a long time on a limited budget. With the funding Logan currently has behind him he is going to do well. There are some very good young drivers running locally right now. Fred Rahmer's boys (Freddie and Brandon) have been very impressive for their first year running 410's. Austin Hogue was pretty impressive this weekend at Williams Grove running with the WoO. Trey Starks is flying in every weekend from Washington to run Williams Grove and Port Royal. And he's only 18 years old. The future of sprint car racing in Central Pa looks pretty good right now.

My apologies for Blaney. I couldn't hear the Pa. that clearly, and while I know a lot of the drivers, I'm not familiar with all. Logan W. has a sweet deal w/ Bedford Val. Petroleum for a sponsor. Young Mike is still in the 305's until better $$ turns up. Never been to P. Royal, but would like to make a show someday. Last Sunday in Sept. there is a show of 410's @ Roaring Knob paying $20K to win! Should be one HELUVA show!

Is the race at Bedford this Friday a little different than the usual show? It looks like it costs a little more to go.
