1. LeBron James - No questions asked. Even though he didn't have an MVP or Title to show for it in 2014, he's still the King.
2. Kevin Durant - The MVP. The scoring Champ. He's LeBron's stiffest competition.
3. Chris Paul - The top guard in the league. Averaged 10 assists as the catalyst for Lob city.
4. Kevin Love - The best player in the league not in the postseason. Double-Double machine.
5. Stephan Curry - The best shooter in the game, turned Golden State to a serious threat.
6. Carmelo Anthony - One of the game's best pure scorers.
7. Dwight Howard - The one true franchise Center in this league. He'll have the Rockets in contention in the next few years
8. LaMarcus Aldridge - What a season for this guy. 23 and 11, and looked unstoppable in the first round of the playoffs.
9. James Harden - He's come a long way from being the Thunder 6th man. 25 PPG in 2014.
10. Paul George - Really climbed up the charts this year. Indiana was a disaster down the stretch, but still made the ECF.
11. Russell Westbrook - One of the best athletes in the world. Fun player to watch.
12. Tim Duncan - I mean the true model of consistency. If he decides to retire, he'll go out on top.
13. Derrick Rose - Seriously. He's a top 5 player in this league when healthy.
14. Tony Parker - The numbers aren't elite, but still solid. He can still hang with any other guard, and beat them too.
15. Kobe Bryant - Again, when healthy Kobe still ha sit. He's an all-time great.
16. Dirk Nowitski - The big man still has it. If you recall the Mavs to San Antonio to 7 behind Dirk,something LeBron or KD couldn't
17. Blake Griffin - A lot of hype because the athleticism, but a very good player.
18. Kyrie Irving - Very good guard, and he's going to make a lot of money if he leaves Cleveland or be the reason why Lebron returns
19. Anthony Davis - The unibrow can play. 20 and 10 a night. The stronger he gets, the better he will get. So young still.
20. Kawhi Leonard - The Big 3 may be ready to turn it over to this guy. Finals MVP at age 22.
21. Joakim Noah - Unique player, does a lot for his team. Great passing big man.
22. John Wall - The reason behind Washington's run during the playoffs. Great athlete, only getting better.
23. Damian Lillard - Silky smooth guard, really came into his own during this postseason.
24. DeMarcus Cousins - Don't hear much of him in Sacramento, but he's putting up 22 and 11 a game every night.
25. Goran Dragic - Maybe the best player you never heard of, the new Steve Nash in Phoenix. Averaged 20 and 5 assists.

Deron Williams, Pau Gasol, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, Rudy Gay.

Can't argue with the list - but I would rank them differently.
My top 10 would be Lebron, Durant, Westbrook, Wall, Griffin, Curry, Anthony, Paul, Lillard, and Rose. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and Kyrie Irving will be in the top 10 conversation next season.

I'd also have Marc Gasol, Kyle Lowry, Kenneth Faried, Deandre Jordan, Zach Randolph, Al Jefferson, Serge Ibaka, Jonas Valincunas, Nick Young, and Bradley Beal just outside the top 25.

On a side note - no former Pitt players make my list (lol), but it is entertaining watching Dejuan Blair, Stephen Adams, Sam Young, and the occasional Aaron Gray sighting on League Pass.

Good call on Kyle Lowry, arguably better than Dragic at the 25 spot. He had a tremendous year.

Blair and Adams at least made some impacts on playoff teams. I could see Adams being the starting Center for the Thunder in due time. perkins is hardly anything special and Steven really has so much upside.

For my money, nothing is better than watching Aaron Gray do the towel slap when Boogie Cousins throws one down!

He's certainly come a long way from being Chris Taft's clumsy backup.

And that is saying something because all Chris Taft did was play himself on NCAA hoops!

LeBron James is definitely in my list of top 10 NBA players of all time and probably would be topping the list of active players but can he get close to Michael Jordan’s records?
