With the recent arrest of these guys, I started thinkiƱg about a few things, and thoughtid throw them out thereto see if anyone agreed or ya all think I'm nuts. Anyone else notice since the original investigation started , guys like Braun, Pujols, Headley and a few others went from perennial .300+ and 40hr guys to .250-.270 hitters with way less pop?Coincidence?

Pujols's decline is more due to age and injuries in my opinion. Can't say the same for some of the other guys. I will say that throughout all of baseball history their has always been guys that had a couple great seasons then just completely fell off the face of the planet.

Chase Headley has only hit over 30 Homers one time, Pujols got old, Braun is hitting .290 and still arguably the best left fielder in baseball.

I know age and injuries play a role, but big Al feels better by his admission as he has in years and the hr have came back close to what it was, but avg is 40-50 points lower than his career avg.
