Steelers - Browns. Will the Steelers be ready after a lackluster preseason? Ready to move on from multiple 8-8 seasons? Will we see the Johnny Football debut?
Seahawks title defense begins Thursday.

Steelers should be able to handle Cleveland pretty handidly. It's all on if they can stop the run or not. Packers are very good this year but it's hard to win in Seattle especially going against their defense at home. It is gonna come down to the wire but I'll go with the packers.

Steelers look very fast on both sides of the ball.

Sigh.... They played so well in the first half now we see the other side. These defensive schemes are bad... Can't have 7 guys on the line of scrimmage if you don't penetrate every time otherwise you'll give up big plays and short passes....

Scheme? The scheme is great has been for almost 30 years. The issue is gap fit and maintaining leverage on the outside. has nothing to do with penetration at this level, gap fit and staying home. They will get better.

A lot of inexperience on the front 7. It takes time. They'll continue to improve all season but next year is when they'll make the jump back up to one of the top defenses. They keep showing flashes of how good they can be just have to put it all together.

It did work in the past but we are in a league now where 5 yard completions are popular. And receivers can take that 5 yard completion and take off for 20+ yards. If you play far off you will get picked apart now a days. Need to play tight coverage if you want to rush.
