D6 AA Power Rankings Week 8
1.Mount Union-(7-0) The Trojans grab the top spot this week after defeating Everett to stay undefeated. Look for more of the same as they travel to West Branch to play a outmanned Warrior squad
2.Tyrone Area-(6-1)Clearfield came to Tyrone on Friday night with a mission. Miscues and 3 turn overs later they left victorious. It's a big points week this week for Tyrone as they host AAAA Central Mountain
3.Central - (5-2) The Dragons won as expected against a winless Philipsburg squad. This week they travel to Bellefonte with the Red Raiders coming off a big overtime win. Doesn't matter this one will be all Central
4.Juniata-(6-1) A big loss this week against a 3-3 Tri Valley team. There Mr Everything Chantz Swartz was held to under a 100 yards rushing. This seems to be the key to keeping this team in check. They venture out against a Maryland squad this week to take on Mountain Ridge.
5.Forest Hills- (4-3) The Rangers took care of business on friday night against Bishop Carroll. There are still some tough games on the schedule. This week they travel down the road to take on Johnstown.
6.Penn Cambria(4-3) The Panther pulled out a big win to move up the ranking this week with a big win for them over Central Cambria. They travel to Westmont this week before finishing things up against Somerset and McCort.
7.Central Cambria (3-4) An unexpected loss on Friday night to Penn Cambria will not hurt the Red Devils to badly. The remaining games on the schedule should go their way. Look for them to get back to 500 this week as they travel to Richland.
8. Huntingdon(3-4) Big loss this weekend against Bald Eagle puts a strain on the playoff hopes. This week they host Philipsburg, but still have at least another loss with Central coming in next week
