Thoughts and tid-bits from the Y.

Heard some possible rumblings of roster changes to BG. Anyone else hear this? Right now, same show.

Rumors of BC's demise are premature.

Tussey has a rebuilding job to do.

Mifflin County could be a player this year in AAAA.

Altoona looks good, Hollidaysburg has some work to do.

Hard to get a handle on some becuase they don't have all their players there on a regular basis but Everett will have a very nice team.

Tyrone will be the heavy favorite in the Mountain League.

Bellwood keeps on rolling.

Thoughts from anyone else who has been going in to watch games?????

Wouldn't call Tyrone a "heavy" favorite to win the Mountain League with what Clearfield has coming back.

Everett has looked very good in the RS YMCA league as well.

Ridge has good size in the front line. It will all depend on whether they can get consistent guard play.

Tussey has some talented kids and the coaching transition will be interesting. I've seen them look real good one week and completely the opposite the next. But hey that's summer league for ya!

Who has been coaching Ridge since Meck left?

One of Meck's assistants from last year I believe. Not sure of his name.

Hollidaysburg YMCA did have a boys league in May and early June. Altoona, Hollidaysburg, Bishop Guilfoyle, Tyrone, Bellwood-Antis, West Branch, and Westmont were in it.

Yep, spring league and outside. Summer league is women's league and has been, which is what I hoped this thread was going to be about.
