What are the norms for your staff on team trips?

So I'm a newer college coach and was just curious what the norms are amongst the coaching staff of other teams on team trips overnight. Does your coaching staff normally hangout at all during down time on trips or go out for drinks at a nearby restaurant at night, or just everyone just kind of do their job and chill in their rooms during down time? If you do ever go hangout as a staff, does everyone go or just certain coaches? Also, curious how close everyone's coaching staffs are just in general. Does your do many staff outings outside of work and are all the coaches pretty close just from time at work spent together or not so much? Our coaching staff is new to our school this year and so far does not ever hangout outside of the office or on trips this fall season, but gets along very well and is fairly close within the office (but only in the office; we don't even eat lunch together.) I was just curious if this was normal or if other coaching staffs are closer or are friends outside of work. It's also worth noting that I'm the only female on our coaching staff, so I'm also curious if there is any difference in dynamics between staffs that are all male/all female versus those having one person of the opposite gender.
