Anybody have any insight on who the top teams will be? D-5? D-6? I see Ridge is wrestling Huntingdon in first match of year Ryan Spring reported.

In the Heritage Marion Center should have a formidable squad.

LHAC should be wide open, there are a number of tough teams. AA wise Westmont and McCort should be tough. Westmont lost the McCort kids, but their Junior High squad was very good last season.

The Kovalchik Center is a nice facility as most can attest who have been to Flo Nationals the past few years. Plenty of parking and not really a bad seat in the house.

A lot less travel for eastern D5-6 participants, fans.

Definitely, the trip to Canonsburg sucks. The trip home is always worse after sitting all day. It sucks when you lose something local like that. My son is entering his first season as a varsity wrestler and I can remember for years sitting in the stands and watching him fill out his bracket book and rooting for his fellow Young Guns wrestlers and hoping to be in that position one day. You'd see so many families taking it in each year, it would be a nice consolation to see it end up local again.
