Former NBC Alum Retires

Coach Ken Bussard from CC has put his resignation in to the school board to be OK'd at the next meeting in March as reported by the Tribune-Democrat. Coach Bussard has had a great career at CC with 2 D-6 titles and a few state playoff wins, congrats to him.

All around great guy. He did a good job at CC. Wonder who would be in line for the job?? I bet someone walks next door and knocks on Craig Sponskys door to see if he is interested.

speaking of Sponsky, suppose he coached a public school and took them to Hershey...would that mean he recruited at the public school as well?

U no gunner that brings up an interesting scenario. Lets say Sponsky would go to CC Would any of his kids follow him that live right there in Ebensburg?? Sponsky will stay at BC but interesting to think about if he would go next door to coach.

Given that previous situation...how would CC react if those kids would follow him and go to CC ?? I bet that would be a heated debate if that would happen, especially from the players themselves. What was Bussard's record during his tenure as head coach ??
