Instead of worrying about winning the dual meet how about wrestling more than 4 matches.   It's called wrestling, not forfeiting
That team win isn't going to help you win districts as a team and the forfeits aren't going to help your guys get better.

The sport is slowly dying and we wonder why.

I know nothing about wrestling, I've never watched a match in my life. But, why not tri-meets? Better chance for more matches at more weight classes with three teams instead of 2, no?

I think tri meets and double duals would be great. It cuts revenue for schools if they don't host a match. It is also tough to have that many teams/fans in a gym. It would be really fun though I think. Kids wouldn't have to weigh in as often and could get more practice time to actually work on their skills. 3 matches in a week on 3 nights is tough.

Imagine paying to get in to see 3 matches total and 2 of them ended in less than a minute!

I need to choose my words wisely. I don't want my post to be deleted again but then again I'm talking about two public schools. Look at the two teams you are talking about.....Portage and Conemaugh Township. Both of these teams have been on their deathbed for the past twenty years.

If you posted about some Portage kid's personal problems, your post would be deleted as well - we don't discriminate.

Multiple posters that aren't Catholic school people complained about your post. So I obliged their requests.

I don't want to make a big issue of it. You're a good poster, I just don't want you to think I deleted something because it was about McCort.  That wasn't the case.  That's all.
