Adam Cecere
Adam Cecere committed to play baseball for Wake Forest in the ACC.
Wake Forest finished 43-20 this season, and advanced to the Super Regionals (Sweet 16). Baseball America ranked them #13 in their final rankings.
Cecere batted .430 for the Rangers last season, and was 6-0 with a 1.50 ERA and helped lead them to the state quarterfinals.

The Ranger Nation expected something like this, but it's just a verbal at this point. He's only a JR.-to-be. He had been leaning towards a good offer from Duke before this. I'm guessing this fall will be his last as a footballer.

Actually May 4th at Sidman. Cecere lost to PC 3-2 on their Senior Day. Cecere complete game 3R 2 ER. So he was 6-1. I'm sure that was an oversight when the stats were put in ?Crimson's Ghost wrote:Adam Cecere committed to play baseball for Wake Forest in the ACC.

I think it's a good move on his part. He's going to a great school and a top 25 type baseball program.
Not sure how his football recruiting would have turned out, and I'm sure schools will still put the calls in if he plays well this season.
