ICC Week 3

After two weeks let me take a stab at re-ranking the ICC teams as we move into the September portion of the schedule:
Bellwood (1) and Mount Union (2) appear to be the class of the league.   In the next group we have S.Huntingdon (3) followed by NBC and Juniata Valley.  Claysburg sits alone in the middle and then we get to the “have nots” at the bottom half of the league with Mo Valley, Glendale, Williamsburg, Everett, Tussey Mt., and West Branch.   The bottom half of the league is very weak this year in my opinion.

Claysburg at Bellwood  –  Unless CK gets a lot of breaks go their way, this game should be over by mid-third quarter.  Bellwood 40 Claysburg 14.

Everett at Mo Valley –  Mo Valley at home versus a young Warriors squad.  Black Knights get their first win in a big way.  Mo Valley 35 Everett 8.

Juniata Valley at West Branch – JV is at a crossroads after what had to be considered a disappointing loss last week.  Fortunately West Branch will be good medicine for the Hornets.  JV 30 WB 12.

Glendale at Northern Bedford –  NBC is playing solid football and their defensive unit has been stellar.  Glendale gave their fans a glimmer of hope in week 1 but won’t get it done against any opponent in the top half of the league.   NBC 34 Glendale 0.

Tussey Mt. at Mt. Union –  MU had an impressive ‘bounce back’ win last week and Tussey lost what many felt was a “must win” game for them.  Easy call.  Mount Union 48 Tussey 7.

Southern Huntingdon at Williamsburg  -  The Rockets will dominate in the trenches.  SH 42 Williamsburg 12

I would agree with your assessment. This year there seems to be more "have nots " than last year. I thought JV was going to take the jump into the top 2 of the league, but MU had other plans. As for this weeks predictions. I would agree with all of them. But I will predict Claysburg plays tougher than people think.

Agree with those assessments, I really hope to see CK play a good game at BA.

We have a ways to go but BA at MU should be a good one.
