ICC Week 9

Bellwood won the big one last week but Mount Union showed they are equal as it came down to some blocked extra points. This week the big two host the next two in line. Do NBC or SHC have an upset in them?
Northern Bedford at Mt. Union – Northern Bedford has one of the best if not ‘the’ best defense in the league. They will be tested as they’ve been solid versus the run all year. Daunte Martin cracks them for at least two big runs and although I think NBC can keep him under 200 yards rushing, MU will get enough on the scoreboard to win. Mt. Union 27 Northern Bedford 14.
Southern Huntingdon at Bellwood – Bellwood has shown once again that they are the King. Southern is playing well but will not have enough here as the Blue Devils will keep the Rockets offense grounded. Bellwood 27 Southern 7
Claysburg at Tussey Mt.– Tussey is healthy again and got a nice win at Glendale last week. They will be competitive at home and hang around into the second half but Bulldogs have too much talent overall. Claysburg 35 Tussey Mt. 20
Mo Valley at West Branch - Two pretty equal teams playing a rivalry game. West Branch 21 Mo Valley 20 in overtime
Glendale at Juniata Valley– JV at home vs Glendale coming off a loss to Tussey. Easy call. Juniata Valley 34 Glendale 12
Williamsburg at Everett - These are currently the two worst teams in the league. Injuries and a porous line play have really hurt Williamsburg and they’ll be battling a team that also has problems in the trenches. Everett does have two nice players in Brown and Akers but Williamsburg Knorr and he will be the difference maker. Williamsburg 14 Everett 10
