Do some work on team chronolgies, which I have done except for this snag.
1987 AA the Saylor files are showing Multiple playoff wins prior to the district final between Gulfoyle and United. Does anyone know which is perhaps a conference game and which was the semi final?

Bishop Guilfoyle defeats Westmont Hilltop 33-13 [/font]

BG beat Richland in a conference championship game. I don't even remember what the conference was called. United beat Richland the following week in the District 6 playoffs. That was back when four teams made the district playoffs and the year before the state playoffs were invented.

BG and Richland probably played for the Mountain Conference title, which was the predecessor to the Laurel Highlands. Richland would have been the Big Nine section champ and BG the Great 8 champ or something like that.
My reference to this is from the 1985 season when I played for Bedford. We were undefeated and we were the Big Nine champs and then beat BG 30-0 for the Mountain Conference championship at Windber.

Mid-70's FH also beat BG @ Windber Stadium for the Mountain Conference title. The good ol' days. I believe that FH team gave up 6 points total, all season.

Richland, Westmont, Somerset, Bedford, Forest Hills and Central Cambria. Who were the other three? Windber, Conemaugh Township and North Star?

We also played Central, Carrick(non-league), Everett(non-league). I don't know if Central was in the league or if there were any crossover games. And I can't remember who the other team we played was.
