I think they have a pretty good shot. Conference USA is strong this year and since the Big 12 is having an absolutely horrible year this year, more teams may be in it to give them moer of a chance. I think Cincinatti and Dayton could be Dark Horses, and St. Joe's definitely has a legit chance to make it past the Sweet 16. Also Xavier has a good team. I say FACT.

I say a big old Fiction on Cincy. THey tourny history is not a real good one. But Fact that a team from one of these conferences will make it.

Big 12 having an "absolutley horribile year"... thats a pretty bold statement. Granted they are not as strong as in previous years they still have 3 teams ranked in the top 25... OK State.. Texas..and Kansas.... I highly doubt any team wants to face Missouri or Texas Tech in the NCAA's... Both teams are very tough but have failed to consistently play to their full potential this year.

I say Fact...at least one team from either conference will sneak into the Round of 16.

I agree Only, I wouldn't want to see either of those teams in the tourney. Kansas will be a force to be reckoned with in the tourney, I hope.

Touche. Big 12 is having a sub-par year. No offense--Kansas sucks this year, but they may have the experience to make it as far as the round of 16. Louisville--they are in the same basket, except U of L is close to not making the cut.

I was going to say....the question should be: Will TWO teams from those two conferences make it to the sweet 16? I'd say fact as well. Cincy, Louisville, St. Joe's, Dayton, Richmond, Xavier, Memphis, UNCC, Depaul, and UAB are all teams that could win 2 depending on matchups....
