Anyone know why Latrobe from District 7 went to District 4 Midd-West tonight, in the middle of the WPIAL season? Seems kind of strange. How many WPIAL teams has done that or gone to another District that far east to play in Late October?

When Albert Gallatin went independent, it left openings in every team's schedule in the conference. I guess Midd-West had an opening; Penn-Trafford and Gateway went to Massillon, McKeesport played Erie Prep, Plum played Weir WV, Franklin Regional couldn't find anyone. The only team from the conference AG agreed to play was Connellsville

The LHAC allowed for some non-conference games a few years ago. That allowed Bedford to play Ridge, Heights played NC I think.
McCort May have played Bradford I think. Tyrone and Johnstown played. Bellwood played Richland.
I liked the idea of non-conference games.

I like this idea as well. Allow teams to play an old rival or even play out of your area. I would think playing the same teams year in and year out gets old.
