Anyone get to check out any scrimmages? Who looks good in boys or girls basketball? Does the Altoona Mirror preview come out this weekend?

Not sure about the boys side, but the McCort girls should be this year's version of FH from last year. Anything less than a LHAC title and deep run in states would be a huge disappointment on Osborne Street.

No playoffs in ALL sports for BMCHS! Isn't that the ruling of the PIAA? They can participate in reg. season but no post-season?

I thought the post season ban was wrestling only. All other sports are on probation. I may be wrong, but I think that is what the ruling stated.

I was thinking Wrestling only for post season as well, but I don't know that. Wow that would be a big blow if true.

Can one of the site Mods clear up any confusion on this?

The football postseason issue was because they merged with BC and would have changed classifications. I don’t know anything else about BM.

Head Roadie's link on P. 5 of the McCort wrestling thread spells it out: 3 years probation for the ATHLETIC Dept. Doesn't that cover ALL sports?

Sorry to disappoint you, but McCort can participate in the postseason in every sport other than wrestling. I know it must crush you some 17 year old girls can still win a championship.
