What a season. Enjoyed the competition of the LHAC and proud of the year this group put together. Just a brief recap of some of the record breaking numbers put up this year.
SR RB Parker Gregg became the first player in PA history to put up 1000 yards both rushing and receiving. Parker finished with 1162 rushing on just 146 carries and 18 TDs. He also added another 13 TDs on 51 catches for a school single season record 1034 rec yards.
JR WR Eli Lingenfelter tied Parker’s school record of 1034 receiving yards with 50 rec and a school single season record of 14 rec TDs.
SO Hunter Smith added 12 rec TDs from his RB position.
Then of course there is JR QB Jeff Hoenstine who finished the season with 3621 passing yards on an amazing 69% completion rate. Jeff ended up with a state record of 57 passing TDs to go with just 4 INTs. The passing yards were obviously a school single season record and he currently holds the career mark as well with 6200 yards. For his career he now has 95 passing TDs vs 11 INTs.
Dragons will return several skill players but will need to replace 4 out of 5 on the OL. JV team finished with 1 loss to Fort Hill, MD and will need some of those kids to step up next year to fill those holes.
Just wanted to reflect on this amazing season while already looking forward to next year. Thanks!
