Had a good conversation today about co ops, question came up what would have been one of best co ops had two neighboring schools combined since 2000. We left out the catholic schools. Was a good convo but was wondering who we might have missed.


One Interesting one was the xree Lowe team combined with the Westmont team that had several solid offensive lineman.

There had been talks a number of years ago not of a co-op, but an actual jointure of Richland-Forest Hills. Initiated by Richland. Glad calmer heads prevailed and that idea was put to bed.

I’m sure it’ll be revisited down the line. Population is going to continue to shrink. There’s very little reason now why there are 13 school districts in Cambria County, let alone if/when the population continues to dwindle.
