Re: LHAC Wrestling Tournament
I haven’t seen anything official posted, but I heard that Cahill resigned as Bedford head coach. I don’t know if these two things are related or not but they both happened close togetherHusker33 wrote: ↑January 24th, 2024, 10:12 pm From PA power wrestling page:
PA State Qualifier and #12 in the State Kross Cassidy of Bedford has transferred to Fairfax, VA where he competed for Lions last night.
Older brother and PIAA State Champion Kaden Cassidy competes for George Mason.

Yes may see some help wanted ad’s posted on the walls during Thomas tournament
Re: LHAC Wrestling Tournament
Yeah, seems like it was a tough week down there in Bedford County.
I hadn't heard anything on Cassidy leaving. But for the family to move mid season like that is surprising. I would think you'd want to get through your post season wrestling in PA before making a move to VA. He's tough!! I bet he goes and walks through the VA state tournament. Hopefully he's able to compete down there right away.
Cahill, again a mid season exit is odd especially for a coach. Especially when he just opened a club down there after being hired. But, this one seems to have been building all season. I heard he was barely ever at practices...

It was a tough week. So much for the super Coaching staff. Finally I thought the Bisons were back to the Crep era. Winning, pinning and beating up Ridge. Bedford needs to hire one of the ridge assistances imho
Cassidy leaving shouldn’t surprise anyone, his brother transferred 4-5 times. Went to Florida and everything.

Bedford has a coach on staff that would do a great job as head coach.

Someone make a call to John Street Bedford, Pa. Add Fairfax to the Thomas line-up to see if there would be any champs from Virginia this weekend.
