SW AA
No talk about SW Regionals yet? Brackets posted yesterday, and 121, 127, 145, and 152 are landmines. Some weaker weights too, but for the most part going to be tough sledding for some D5 kids to get out. Team race will be easily won by McCruit, but who else is Top 3?

Re: SW AA
Maybe NBC gets it done again! All joking aside they might not get a single wrestle through.
Ridge is the only homegrown school.
Mcruit is Mcruit, none of their kids are even from the area. I heard the other night Burrell and Burgesttswon are open enrollment schools. They have kids from other schools whose parents just pay school taxes. Bald eagle has wrestlers from Louisiana. Penns Manor has 9 Regional wrestlers and a few moved tbere from out of state to be closer to Penn state

They are in the central part of the state I believe.BisonLegend68 wrote: ↑February 27th, 2024, 2:49 pm Maybe NBC gets it done again! All joking aside they might not get a single wrestle through.

You're only young once, but you can be immature forever!!!
Re: SW AA
Penn Manor is a large school between Harrisburg and Philly somewhere. McCruit's homegrown products are Bassett, Gibson, Miller, McMullen, Magro, and would have wrestled for FH if they had stayed. Plus several others from out of state.
It ain't over until it's over.

Just like Chris Farley said in Tommy Boy-- Talk About You're All Time Backfire. Don't see Forest Hills sending anybody to states again this year. They build a powerhouse and let it all go to BM. Never seen anything like it.
Look for some big hammers to make some noise from Ridge and you might even see some state champions. Somerset has big hammer at 215.

Re: SW AA
I have come to the realization that any team that is consistently near the top is bringing kids in, especially in AA or A in football That's in any sport. You simply can't be dominant 10 years in a row with a good program if your graduating 50 to 60 boys a grade. Your going to have ups and downs. Look at football even the public schools that perform well like Westinghouse have a built in advantage when you dig into it, in Westinghouse case city league is all open enrollment. Piaa might as well just let kids and schools do whatever they want because it's happening anyway. Only people being punished currently are the kids.BisonLegend68 wrote: ↑February 27th, 2024, 2:49 pm Maybe NBC gets it done again! All joking aside they might not get a single wrestle through.

Not a single kid through? Dibert and Snider are pretty good bets to make it through.BisonLegend68 wrote: ↑February 27th, 2024, 2:49 pm Maybe NBC gets it done again! All joking aside they might not get a single wrestle through.

What are some other picks? Didn't intend for this to turn into the 67th thread on recruiting on here
