The tournament is under way, apparently. Belmont Charter the District 12 No. 2 representative in AA has forfeited its first round game to Minersville.

So down to 31 teams in Girls AA.

Belmont Charter is listed with a 4-6 record on the official PIAA bracket. It says the same thing on Maxpreps. Looks like they made the state tournament last year with a 3-7 record and lost in the first round 45-7.

Idk, it would be cool if they could have declared like a month ago they had no intention of playing and gave the bid to a better organized district.

Windber as a second team out of D5 or Penns Manor as D6 No. 5 would be better than having a 4-win team forfeit two days before the tournament.

I just saw where Windber has posted they are hiring for a Varsity Girls Basketball Head Coach. Good team to have a head coach opening.

Good program, but they are a BIG fish in a little pond. They should have accepted the offer to join the LHAC when they had the chance.
