There you go. It really hammers our area hard. We live in a state that doesn’t necessarily reward those who work hard, but those that exploit the system. There’s been so many amazing local teams cut short by this and then are scrutinized for pointing it out
Exactly teams are playing let's say 1 and two a that should be playing a couple of classes up

Conemaugh Township at McConnellsburg seems in the middle of nowhere…do they have nice seating?

Yea, surprised that's not at Chambersburg. Seems like that would be the bigger and better gym in that part of the state.

Berlin has to go the whole way to Cumberland Valley in lieu of Chambersburg, to play a 4th seed of D3.

Township to McConnellsburg is 74 miles. Lancaster Mennonite to McConnellsburg is 112 miles

Township to Chambersburg is 95 miles, and is between to 83-94 miles for Lancaster Mennonite. So that actually would've been the geographic midpoint, making me think Chambersburg did not want to host or was unable to host, which left it for McConnellsburg.

Probably the same deal for Berlin.

Chambersburg would've been the better meeting point for Lancaster CC and Berlin, but if they can't host it is what it is. That area along the turnpike where District 5 meets District 3 isn't blessed with many playoff caliber gyms, I wouldn't think.

I'm guessing because Chamebrsburg is good at basketball this year probably affected the availability of the gym. They are still alive in 6A boys and play on Wednesday. My guess is that the team is probably practicing Tuesday night and all of their volunteers will be at their game on Wednesday.

having hosted state playoff games in the past I can tell you its kind of a pain. Not surprised Chambersburg didn't host.
