Need a good knee surgeon

Hey we have alot of good athletes out there... and I know alot of injuries. My "big" little brother tore his miniscus and needs to know who the good surgeons are...Let me know who you guys had and how they were

Surely someone here has had surgery...Just let me know if they were a good or a bad surgeon....

well foot/ankle care i could hook ya up, but sorry, never had any problems w/ the knees

I went to Port for my strained maniscus and broken ankle...but i never had surgery. He was good for what it was worth.
Talk to JDB12...she had knee surgery with Port. I think she said he was good.

he needs cast iron put in his knees to supports himself....and quit running to the dessert line

Dr. Sabastionelli(sp?) up at Penn State is one of the better knee doctors in the nation. My brother tore his acl and he did the surgery. My brother's knee we fully re-habed in 3 months and came back for wrestling and went to districts that year.

CPA: My brother tore his acl and he did the surgery.
I read that and at first was like...wow. he did is own surgery. that must take some real balls. But then i re-read it and realized The Dr. did the surgery.
I just thought that was funny. I'll shut up now.

I had knee surgery this past November for Chondromalacia (runner's knee), tendonitis, arthritis and some other things. Dr. Port was my surgen. He is very good, I recommend him. He is sometimes hard to see right away, like any other surgen I guess. If you can't see him in time, Dr. Ellis is also a good surgen. He is the trainer for the Penn State football team, but he also comes down to Altoona to see patients. Need anymore info, let me know.
