Re: Fh wrestling job?
Yeah, don’t forget to mention 3 time PIAA state champ Jackson Arrrington and the fact he is doing unreal for NC State, a D1 wrestling giant. Also, the reason Penn State and those other colleges you named don’t call for Track and Cross Country athletes, as you bash them, is because Penn State is a terrible track and field school. Maybe have some knowledge of other sports, as I’m sure you were such an athlete in your day (sarcasm applied). Your fascination with FH and your boy crush on CR is quite comical. Total fanboy. I don’t know why CR doesn’t have you involved in their recruited program’s staff. Seems like a breadth of knowledge spews from your fingertips. Especially how everyone is “proofing” you to be correct!creedence wrote: ↑June 23rd, 2024, 9:11 amYah let's see thanks for proofing my point by putting his name on your own list of his wrestlers. I guess he coached himself.
Yeah nothing to see here thanks for proofing my point. He may have wrestled for Penn State and but none of his wrestlers could. They all went UPJ D2.
Hopefully they will hire the next coach that coaches more than three months out of the year. A lot of coaches around that are all in and no where Fargo is and what Greco is.

Since the topic of wrestling recruiting was brought up in this topic: According to Facebook today, Bo Bassett says he has narrowed his college choices from 80 to 66.

That’s Penn West, Clarion campus.creedence wrote: ↑June 23rd, 2024, 3:42 pmWell woopy do. Good for him. But who the crap cares what you did in high school Al Bundy. Hate to break it to you but nobody really gives a crap about long distance track or cross country either. Don't see too many track stars getting into Clarion or Iowa to wrestle.El-Moldo wrote: ↑June 23rd, 2024, 2:09 pm High school wrestling isn't the be all, end all. Most FH wrestlers are multi-sport athletes. Strayer himself was a star in cross-country and long-distance track. Sure there have been some good fulltime wrestlers, but many have just played whatever sport that was in-season at the time. And what was their reward for wrestling all year long? Wrestling for 4 or 5 more years after high school and spending your youth in a gym. If that's your goal in life, more power to you. Otherwise have fun with sports in high school, and cherish those memories.

Wonder what D5 kids are getting some big looks. I know Kross is getting a bunch of calls. I would think Dominic Deputy would be too. Anyone else?
Re: Fh wrestling job?
Come on your making this to easy. He is a great wrestler but he wrestles year round and is a young guns wrestler and also wrestled for RPW which is Bassett's club. I don't think he spend very much time wrestling in the Forest Hills room. It was only open a few month a year. Yet he wrestled year around with Young Guns so I think you just proofed my point again. Thanks.highschoolfan wrote: ↑June 23rd, 2024, 11:50 pm

According to Flowrestling, the "Great Narrowing" has continued. Over the last two weeks, Bo Bassett has now narrowed his college choices down to 52 from 66. Among those eliminated from consideration lately were Cleveland State, Rider, Saint Cloud State, West Liberty and Wisconsin-Parkside.

He is not endearing himself to many in the wrestling community with this sideshow. He is becoming easier and easier to cheer against.El-Moldo wrote: ↑July 10th, 2024, 8:24 pm According to Flowrestling, the "Great Narrowing" has continued.
