State College would draw Central Catholic/North Allegheny
Hollidaysburg - East Stroudsburg South/Roman Catholic
Juniata - Southern Lehigh/Bethlehem Catholic
Clearfield - Thomas Jefferson/McKeesport
Penn Cambria/Somerset winner would get Sharon or Hickory
Heights/Richland would get Farrell or Central Clarion
Bedford would get Troy or Warrior Run
BG/NC winner plays Windber/Westinghouse winner

And if a fan of the game, not necessarily any of the pairings, so desired as a last minute impulsive thing to see any of these games, he/she cannot just walk up to the window and buy an entry ticket. Total BS. Unless the host team, which the individual has no way of knowing, has a kind individual willing to take the person's information and payment at the gate to let them in. HEY, PIAA, COVID pandemic is OVER! How about letting PEOPLE have the final choice?

The online ticketing thing wasn't about COVID. It was to protect themselves from schools not reporting all the ticket sales, and of course the service fee makes them a few more bucks too.

But it also takes like 2 minutes to go to the PIAA website and buy a ticket.

I go to a fair amount of sporting events or concerts and I can't remember the last time I had a physical printed ticket that gained me entry.

They're missing out on a chunk of revenue because many of my generation don;t have a pocket computer or give a crap about apps. Institute a policy that serves EVERYONE!

The fact that 4-7 Somerset is in the playoffs is laughable

Exactly district 5-6-9 should be a sub region. You'd have had Penn Cambria Central Forest Hills Tyrone Brockway Saint Marys Somerset Everett P-O Huntingdon i might be missing one. Atleast could have 8 team playoffs.

They were incorrectly labeled AAA on the Piaa website. They are AA.
