If I were in administration at the school(s) that was stalling, that coach would be fired. What are we teaching the kids? Win at all costs? I have no faith in your ability to compete? Let's manipulate the rules? Shameful.

The parochial schools manipulate the rules daily and don’t feel bad about it. So why should a public school coach feel bad trying to get a win? The other team should have tried harder to steal the ball!!!

I disagree. Kids sign up to play basketball. They work hard year-round playing, practicing and working out. They don't want to stand on the court holding the ball so coach can notch a win over the hated catholics. That's pathetic.
