What's everyone think of the way ESPN -- and all media for that matter -- cover the NFL draft? It seems like that's all you've been hearing about for weeks. Is it overkill or has it become, as some critics contend, a legitimate sporting event in it's own right.

My personal feeling is that it's way overboard -- until I start watching it and get hooked. It's like some immense chess match with -- is it 28? -- different teams.

Plus, let's face it, whoever said there was too much about the NFL on TV should be horsewhipped.

At any rate, what's the feeling out there?

It is overboard, but like you said, it's addicting. Before you know it, you could spend 2 hours watching it - because you don't want to miss that pick. But if you think about it, how much better off are you in knowing immediately what the pick was vs knowing a few hours or a day later? But I'm guilty of watching (at least until the Steelers pick).

BTW - there's 32 NFL teams.
