fiction i think they will all have productive careers. It wont be hard for rivers in san diego because not much is expected of him. Manning will have a lot expected of him bu the is pretty good. I think Roethisberger will be good for the Steelers and I think Losman will be very good after a year of learning under Losman. He could be a superstar if he gets his head straight.

This is an interesting conversation.
But so difficult to predict.
Perhaps Smoker from MSU will end up being the man who comes through 5 years from now and wils the Big Game?
Tough call.

Fiction. I think Eli Manning won't have too much trouble being a great NFL QB. Rivers will probably struggle because he'll be in San Diego. Everyone struggles there. I'm not sure what to think about Roethlisberger and Losman yet.

I think its a fact, i mean one of them has to be a bust. I hope its not Ben. Eli manning is as close to perfection as you can get. I would say rivers or losman. Losman hasnt played against good college football teams and seems arrogant, but we will see. I hate rivers release, but David Carr's got changed so we will see.

i think that rivers has the best chance to have a good year. ladanian tomlinson will have a big impact on river's career. i think the two could be like thurman thomas/jim kelly if the rest of the team comes around at all. manning has all the tools and everything else going for him right now. but remember that what makes peyton manning such a great qb is the fact that he studys tape all the time and does all the little things right. eli will have to do the same if he wants to have the same success. the steelers havent had what i call a good qb in a long time. it should be interesting to see how they bring along big ben. i think he should sit most of the year unless maddox is just terrible or injured. lohsman is a gamble. he has a great arm but it just depends how hard he works.

There are two potential busts here I would think. Phillip Rivers, from what I have heard, doesn't have good form, so he might be a bust if he doesn't get that worked on some. There is a reason for having good form, especially in the NFL.
The other one is J.P. Losman, and I would say that because word has it that he's pretty cocky and may not work as hard as he has to to succeed. He's definately the most likely QB to be a bust in the first round, if not the whole draft.
Eli Manning and Ben Roethlisberger will be successful at the pro level, however, Eli won't have immediate success, and could be a disappointment for what the Giants gave up to have him there, at least at first. He'll grow into after a bit. And big Ben isn't expected to start right away, though I think he'd be good second string, so he'll develop a bit better from not being forced into things.
