Well, old Barry is at it again. A few days ago he told a sports writer that he couldn't play in Boston because the city was too racist. Of course, he himself had never really played in Boston, but that didn't stop him from spouting off.

I guess if you're that good it really doesnt matter what you say,lol. AND if people have told him that Boston is a racist city then why wouldn't he believe it? It is also like saying that I've never lived in Chestnut Ridge but I heard they have a pretty badly behaved school up there and that's why Dan Webb wanted out of there and then me saying to someone, hey I heard ridge is a bunch of bad @#$#$ up there and that they're outta control. That is me saying what i've heard to someone else. People do it a lot.

and note on the Ridge thing, that's just what I heard. Honestly don't know or have any opinion on the topic. I could really careless.

Bonds isn't getting enough attention for hitting homeruns, so he has to run his mouth about something to get attention. Does anyone really care what he says?

Hey, it's news and it got a lot of attention in the national media. And this particular forum looks at things like this. I think a lot of us have quite caring what BB says and thinks -- unless we realize that he's stereotyping and showing the same kind of prejudice he's railing against. Too bad some athletes don't have written into their contracts that they'll get a few million more if they keep their freaking mouths shut.

isnt every city to racist? It doesnt matter where he plays, i dont think people will like him because of how he acts.

or because he went from skinny to rather ripped all in a matter of a few years, i don't believe a bunch of that balco crap but this is most definately the most obvious example.
