Oh. That's unforunate. Well I think his suspension might hurt the hokies. But if they work together they will still be a strong team.

What is wrong with this kid? I've seen him play. He's got a lot of talent. But he just can't seem to stay out of trouble off the field. His brother never had any of these problems. It will hurt the Virginia Tech football team. But it will not kill them. They'll still be tough.

I'm guessing that from the very start of his career, Marcus(?) Vick has been more scrutinized and watched more strictly because of the name his brother created. Mike Vick was just another rising star while he came through. But Marcus is Mike's "little brother". He would have been getting all kinds of attention even if he was competing for Special Olympic gold.

Getting caught and suspended is the best thing that could happen to him. He now has to face the consequences of destructive choices. At least at this point he can rebound and get on the right path.
I get tired of so-called adults in professional sports that appeal and excuse immoral and illegal behaviors for their entire career. Folks can change but it sure isn't quick enough for most of us. Hopefully this gets Mr. Vick to take the high road.

Last week vick issued a written statement to the USA Today saying that he is sorry and that he is going to work hard to reclaim his academic and athletic status at Va Tech. Hopefully he sticks to this claim and proves that some athletes deserve second chances.

High profile big time college athletes are always under the gun and could happen to any of them with girls, drinking, etc. He needs another chance but must pay for his actions!!
