Carson Palmer threw for 248 yards and had 2 TDs and 1 pick. He could have had more, but there was a spectacular 43 yard pass to Chad Johnson negated by offsetting penalties. So 3rd and 12 was repeated, and the Bengals failed to get a first down. Darn.
On the other hand, I am pleased with the Steelers beating the Raiders. Duce Staley had 91 yards rushing on 24 carries, but here's the stat for the week: Jerome Bettis had 1 yard and 3 TDs on 5 carries. There's something.
