Tip-Off Tournament

This friday is the opening games of the Thomas Chevrolet Tip-Off Tournament with Everett, Bedford, Ridge, and NBC...first game is between Everett @ Bedford...your predictions??

It might be more accurate if you list all 4 teams in your poll instead of only 3.

I am going with CR and Bedford in th e Championship game. CR wins a close one, buzzer beater by Barefoot. Free throws will be huge in this game.

The high school basketball season opens this evening with area teams involved in numerous tournaments throughout the region.
The 33rd Annual Windber Area Athletic Boosters Association Tournament, billed as the longest running girls tournament in the state, tips-off with defending champion Richland taking on Bishop McCort at 6:30 p.m. followed by Ferndale against host Windber at 8.
Other girls tournaments are set for Cambria Heights and Portage.
In Patton, Northern Cambria faces Blacklick Valley at 6 followed by the host Lady Highlanders taking on Ligonier Valley. The Art Burkett Memorial Tournament at Portage High School features Penn Cambria against Purchase Line at 6 followed by the host Lady Mustangs against Harmony.
The Bishop Carroll girls are at the Bishop Guilfoyle tournament today and Saturday while the Central Cambria girls are at the Great Chevy Shootout on Saturday and Sunday.
Westmont, Somerset, Rockwood, Bedford and Northern Bedford will hold tournaments for both boys and girls.
The Hilltoppers Tournament gets underway at Westmont High School with the Johnstown girls facing Conemaugh Valley at 5 p.m., followed by the Lady Hilltoppers against Penns Manor and the Conemaugh Valley boys taking on United.
On Saturday, the girls consolation and championship games begin at 5, followed by the Westmont boys taking on Ferndale. The tournament wraps up on Sunday with the boys consolation at 5:30 and championship set for 7.
The Somerset Kiwanis Vance Coleman Tournament opens tonight with the Meyersdale girls facing Mount Pleasant at 3:30, followed by the Johnstown-Ligonier Valley boys at 5:15. The Berlin girls face Somerset at 7 and the Berlin boys take on Somerset at 8:45.
On Saturday, the girls consolation is 3:30 followed by the boys consolation, the girls championship and the boys championship.
The Bill Lamp Memorial Tournament at Rockwood tips-off with the Conemaugh Township and Forest Hills girls squaring off at 4 p.m. The Blacklick Valley boys take on Penns Manor at 5:30 with the Meyersdale and Rockwood boys playing at 7 and the Lady Rockets and Forbes Road at 8:30.
On Saturday, the boys consolation begins at 3, followed by the girls consolation, the boys championship and the girls championship.
In the Thomas Chevrolet Tip-Off Tournament in Bedford County, the Bedford girls and boys play host to their counterparts from Everett at 6 and 7:30 while at Northern Bedford, the Panthers girls and boys host Chestnut Ridge at 6:30 and 8.
The tournament wraps up on Saturday at Ridge with the girls consolation at 1 followed by the girls championship at 2:30. In the evening, the boys consolation is set for 6 with the title tilt at 7:30.
In other boys tournaments, Bishop McCort, Penn Cambria and Punxsutawney will be at the Homer Center Tip-Off Tournament while Central Cambria, Cambria Heights and Philipsburg-Osceola are at the Moshannon Valley Tournament.
Portage, Glendale and Claysburg-Kimmel are at the Harmony Tournament and Northern Cambria is at the Indiana Tip-Off Tournament.
