SCOTLAND Cadets :
Coach: Randy Taylor. 2003-04 record: 22-6 (7-3 Capital).
The big picture: The road trips are shorter, but the opponents are bigger this year for the Cadets. After winning a fourth consecutive District #3 Class (A) championship and reaching the P.I.A.A.-(A) Eastern final last year, Scotland was put back into a division with bigger teams from around Franklin County and the southwest end of Cumberland. Look for the Cadets to meet those challenges and win the division.
Top returnees: Jarmal Ruffin (6-3 sr F, 12.6 ppg), Greg Robinson (6-1 jr F, 10.7), Bryan DeBrest (5-10 sr G, 25 3-pointers), Marcus Brown (6-0 sr G).
