Charlie Weis New Notre Dame Head Coach

Notre Dame hired the Patriot's offense coordinator today to be the next head coach. I think this might be a mistake since he has never been a head coach before this. What does everyone else think?

Great hire, hope he can run an offense like he did with the Pats!! He is a very good football coach!!

Does he finish out the season with New England? If he does, it kills his recruiting, whats left of it for this year anyway. It may help us Steeler fans too.

im not sure i agree with this hire. weis is a good coach no doubt. think about this tho. weis is an asst. w/ the patriots. the patriots are going to be playing football well into the end of january. the recruiting season is at its peak in january. weis wont be ablet target any recruits while coaching the pats. this will be a lost recruiting class if weis is the guy.
