Randy Johnson to the Yankees

It looks the trade involving Randy Johnson to the Yankees is going to be a done deal soon. I think this is huge for the Yankees. However, I hope it's not since i'm not a big Yankee fan. What does everyone think about this deal? Does this make the Yankees favorites for the World Series next year?

Depends on how much gas old Randy still has in the tank.

Well, so much for this deal. The Dodgers pulled out of it. The Diamondbacks and Yankees are now looking for another team to get in the deal with them. Steinbrenner has to be fuming.

they should have salary caps in the mlb, the yankees got so much money...it's like cheating...i dunno maybe i'm dumb but that's just how i see it any one else agree or disagree?

I agree there should be a salary cap. I don't see one coming anytime soon, though. That means the Yankees will continue to be contenders forever. How can't they be contenders with the players they sign?

go ahead and try to put a salary cap on it...did you see what happened to the NHL when they tried that?
